Video Card Help

I was in the market for a new video card. I currently don't have one right now. I was wanting to stay around the 70 bucks range. I was also looking for an Nvidia. I was just wondering which card would be the best bang for the buck. Also would a 128mb card give me a much more advantage then a 64mb. I've read some reviews on video cards and have notice that the mx440 8x is a better card then the fx5200. I have and 8x compatible mainboard. Thank You

I would go with the Radeon 9500 pro or the Ti 4800. If you go with the 9500 do not get the 9550 it is half the power of the 9500 and the 9600 XT isn't as powerfull as the 9500 Pro either.

$70 won't get you much of a video card these days.

If you want to get something half way decent you might want to try the refurb section @ www.newegg.com

http://www.newegg.com/app/catalog.asp?type=Refurbish

Just take a peek at their vid cards. If you can get you're hands on a Ti4200 or a radeon 9600. The Ti 4200 would kick the crap out of the 5200 but it doesn't have DX9 support. But In the end I don't think you would care too much as long as you had a decent video card.

like this possibly http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...type=Refurbish
