Help me buld a <$1250 system

I'm lazy.

It's been a while since I scoured all over for a good system for a great price. So, I thought I'd enlist everyone here I have a friend who lost his house in a fire, he got his insurance $$ this week and need to replace a comuter he had. For 1250, I need:

A good quality 18" lcd
A fast, hopefully upgradable cpu - 2500+ or faster
At least 512 MB ram
A good TV tuner capable video card - aiw comes to mind
DVD+RW
CDRW
Speakers - Probably logitech's z560s or 640s
Wireless kb/mouse - again, logitech
at least 120 gb hdd
I'm thinking he wants a big case w/ window. purple.

I put together an amd FX system, but of course blew the budget.

Nice list Messiah. Thanks for going to all that effort. The only thing I might consider is an Nforce board so I can go to 400 fsb in case he decides to upgrade to a 3200 later. Know anything about that monitor? Saw it on newegg earlier today, but it didn't have any reviews yet.

I would recommend changing the board out for the Shuttle "AN35N-Ultra" nForce2 $55

Go with some of the refurbished boards on Newegg. They are cheap and work great! I bought an Asus A7N8X-X Nforce 2 mobo from them at $29 total.
