I wouldn't buy from Ibuypower or a PC maker that makes em cheaper because their cheap for a reason, trust me. Anyway if u need a reference I'd say ABSPC makes the best damn bang for you buck but for a cheaper company prob. Gateway or Dell but Gateway sucks more than Dell.

I just received a custom high end gaming PC from Monarch PC. While their prices were a bit higher than either Ibuypower or Cyberpower (who I had a horrible PC buying experience with last time) I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my PC build.

I would give these guys a serious consideration if I were you.

I bought a system from ibuypower 6 mos ago and love it. Took a little longer to ship than some, but the quality was worth the wait. I did have a few problems, but customer service and tech support took care of it immediately. There was a crack in the window on the case I ordered. I called and asked for a replacement window, they sent me the whole side panel and a few extra lighted fans for the trouble. Had problems with the pc locking up during gameplay, called tech support and they talked me through a fix within minutes. Haven't had a single problem since.
I think ibuypower builds a high quality system at a good price.

I also purchased an ibuypower pc about 5 months ago. talk about low quality, my sound and graphics cards where glued into the slots (i see i am not the only one!) optical drives blew along with hard discs because of cheap power supply i think. case had huge dent in it, all drives where held in by ONE screw. after i saw all of this i tried to return it but no couldn't even get a hold of em.... I hurled this thing into a dumpster after removing the functioning components. i just built one myself and am very happy with my high quality components!

I'm thinking that this thread started in May should be dead by now.

I should have added my post to this thread

I recently posted a long diatribe about Ibuypower.

I assure you, that I am a reasonable person. I am not the type to send food back at a restaurant unless there is a huge problem, I’ll just eat what I get. (although I may think twice about eating there again).

Not only did they pour glue in my machine they refuse to perform the activities that cause the machine to reboot over and over. If you move large amount of files on the machine or perform any graphical operations like transitions in city of heroes, it reboots.

I really hate dealing with them, and specifically “Steve” who told me he didn’t believe they could send it back wrong a second time, and that he would not continue to honor my warranty. I just don’t believe it.

I really want my money back. I hate this PC and ibuypower
