Willamette or Northwood

Which is the better of the Celeron cores?

Williamette I believe only goes up to 1.8GHz and is made in the older Celeron cores.

Northwood is newer. The Northwood Celerons I believe go up to 2.6GHz.

Both have a 400MHz FSB.
Williamette uses 0.18Micron, Northwood is 0.13Micron.

I would go with a Northwood.

Yep get a Woody, they are known easy overclockers as well if you want to really jack the clock cycles up on a budget...

They now have a 2.8 available for just over 100$
