Wow... Another Ultimate Deal!

I was once again searching Ebay for over priced computers well..... let the sarcastic remarks begin gents!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...125640118&rd=1

This PC looks good but the $6,000 dollar price tag is just a too much

And I didn't know you could get Half-Life 2 this early, but I guess so because it comes with it!

The safest way to prevent hackers from getting into your personal files is to have one of these drives. You can put all of your sensitive information on this one drive, or just use it for all of your storage needs.
HAHA, yeah the hard drive makes a HUGE difference in whether or not you get hacked into.

Well, it only costs so much because shipping is included. Each part is sent in a seperate box.. assembly required.

Besides, its got that 'dual channel' memory which makes it twice as fast (yea right)

According to him, the system should last until 2010 or 2011. What a great investment! (until ATI releases their next card)

:sigh:

I don’t usually like crapping on people’s auctions but you have to love his Dell/Sony product comparisons. This one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2789369980) that he sold is good, too. Check out the comparison between processors. The Dell Dimension 2400 has a P4 which he lists as a 2533. His has a Celeron 2500 (?) which he states is “comparable.” Of course if he was offering the P4 and the Dell he was comparing to had a Celeron, could you imagine how much FASTER that P4 would be listed as? Phew, it would be fast!

He sure remembers to state that his DDR400 RAM is faster than the DDR333 RAM on the Dell, too. That’d be great except the Celeron is running on a slower FSB than the Dell’s P4 2533. At least that one sold for $650. If someone spends $6000+ for a system from this seller I would be very surprised.

same sort of hype my ex boss used to use..except he would throw in boldface lies also...such as "we had these modems designed especially for this city to give the best performance"

it's hard to respect a guy when you hear him tell customers stuff like that

I found this while browsing the category the $6k PC was in, price highest to lowest, to see what came up, and this laptop did. It seems a bit much to stuff in a laptop case, I mean, a 256MB ATI 9700 graphics chip? 2GB RAM? That, and an integrated TV tuner, 7 in 1 memory reader, webcam, surround sound audio...
