I hear ya, evereddie. PW is as crooked as the worst cons on the site. Perhaps they're parent/child companies, like so many of the worst resellers.

The attached image shows negative reviews on many page 2's, even a page 3 and a page 4! So I'm not exactly sure what you guys are talking about.
Also, you might want to note that negative reviews only last for 30 days. They then drop off. That's why you don't see the negative reviews in the older submissions.

Did you even LOOK!
Outpatient, you must not have even looked at my screen shots. They show how neg posts disappeared from right in-between others, and not after 30 days. AT this point the only dealer I have been tracking has been Infinity Systems Plus because they ripped me off for hundreds. While I have noticed this going on with other vendors I only had the time and motivation to DOCUMENT the Infinity situation. I have scowered the Pricewatch site before and after I read your post and nowhere can I find that only negative posts disappear after 30 days. All I find is that the averages are based on 30 days. Can you show me where it says only negative posts are taken off after 30 days.
When I first posted this info about Pricewatch it was requested, rightfully so, that I post a screen-shot to prove the point. I did that and have been questioned as to the authenticity of the screen shots. You seem to want to side on Pricewatch’s side. Tell me what in the world would I have to gain by picking a company out of thin air and flaming them if something real hasn't happened and been documented. You Pricewatch lovers can go on your way and maybe you will get the few honest vendors left on the site but when you get burnned don’t say you haven’t been warnned.

Outpatient,
The screens speak for themselves. As for your screens, it appears to be just what it is. What evereddie is showing is that one day the negative feedbacks are there & the next day (or few thereafter) they're gone. (Certainly within the 30 day recycle period).
I agree with evereddie that this is sketchy! I too use resellerratings but occasionally I'll use pricewatch to find local distro's. Since I'm in So Cal, if I get screwed by any of them, they're gonna have an "agent" at their door & things aren't gonna be pretty! "'Smith' will suffice!" ......... |

Ah ha! Sorry, my bad. I misinterpreted their policy. The score is obtained from the positive and negative comments within the last 30 days. Somehow I read that as them using all the positive comments but only the negative comments from the last 30 days. Seemed kinda screwy now that I think about it.
After looking around there some more I must admit it does look a little peculiar.
And btw, no I didn't really "read" your screenshots, because I couldn't... they are simply horrible. If you want, come to the graphics forum and ask about screenshots and I'll help ya do it right, so you can better document this stuff. Note my screenshots are much clearer, readable, multiple pages, and still under 100k. |

Unfortunatetly in my case - every one sold me "new" stuff that was used and/or overclocked that it was screwed up - so no Pricewatch here buddy. I don't care what anyone says to convince me. Too many bad experiences are too many bad experiences. In fact, I've not had a good one... period.

Now if I didn't have my 19" flat screen CRT - .20 dot pitch, and something shady, like a 17" or non-flat, it might be different.

Screen shot
I know they were not great but I have been away from my home base all week and using a very handycapped machine. I didn't know I would have to pass your judgement. I promise I'll try harder next time....So did that somehow diminish my point?

You're going to continue to have an attitude so, whatever. Have fun.
