Pricewatch manipulates ratings

Went to look at a dealer rating on Pricewatch who had ripped me off big time.(Infinity System Plus) They had a bad overall review going with a lot of negative reviews from individuals including mine. Suddenly they had a better rating, reviews only go back 30 days not any further like they had in the past. Pricewatch also removed negative reviews in the ones that were left. I have screen shots of the reviews before Pricewatch messed with them and it is nothing like what is there now.

Beware of the Pricewatch rating system. Better to use sites like this and other ones not tied into the seller. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

That's great to hear. Do you think you can post the before and after screenshots? I'm interested to see them.

I might but I do want to hear from Pricewatch first on this. I dropped them a e-mail this morning asking them to explain. Their answer will be an important part of this. It is possible that they were cracked or someone on the inside was paid off and they should have a chance to fix it. I've said enough at this point.
Look through the overall ratings number on Reseller Ratings and then go to pricewatch and look back the 30 days. There are a couple of negative reviews in the last couple of days and then SUDDENLY they have a couple of pages of all positive and some neutral. Does that look right to you?

When did PW start doing that? I emailed them several times years ago about the shady characters doing business on their site and their need to have a rating system, or something, to help keep people from getting ripped off by their bad listers.

They never would reply to those requests...so I'm curious as to if they'll reply to you.

I just quit using them after too many burns. And ResellerRatings.Com has a price-search engine now, so who needs PW with RR & Google! Up yers PW!

Pricewatch even lists expresscameras.com, one of the worst out there. Fortunately the overall rating of just a littl over 1 star is close to the actual rating posted on this website... Um, I take that back.. expresscameras.com would be more accurately rated if it was zero stars on pricescan.

First, I don't even bother with sellers listed on pricewatch.com, the lowest prices listed by the sellers are often scammers or if you're lucky, you get hte item but it's DOA. There're many instances that sellers don't honor prices listed there.

Get your stuff from places like Newegg and save yourself weeks if not months of headache.

I resent my inquiry again last night just to be sure they got it. Pricewatch wanted Pricewatch in the message box so I did it exactly as it asked on their site. It's a day later and no response from them. I guessed I wouldn't hear from them on this one.

That happened to me right here on RR. I posted a negative review as a result of a "price error", and it was removed. It's in the terms and conditions, which I didn't realize. Even so, I keep my reviews to epinions now. The idea wasn't to trash the reseller, but to warn other buyers. I thought it was a valid review, and if my opinions based on facts are removed, I won't waste time on another.

Since Price Watch would not let people post more than ONCE in a 30 day period I could not do a follow up there. It has been 45 days and I wanted to post what was going on. When I tried to submit my new post I got an error message that said "you cannot post more than twice in a 30 day period" So who posted in my name and order number? Either Pricewatch or infinity systems Plus. Someone is up to no good. What a damn crooked world we have made.

Sorry to hear that..I can't believe while I'm reading this but it seems like PW is really *** quite a bit..
So many dealers who doesn't even bother honoring the prices..To think I vouched for these guys..Geez!

Looks PW is going down worse and worse..I never actually had dealers rip me off rather order never got placed or majorly delayed even though on the site it says that item was on stock..

Not even misspelled profanity will pass here.
Please refrain from using it again!
