I feel safer with Kingston...at least it is a known quality to me...and about $20 cheaper than neweggs cheapest 512m stuff |
I don't like my stick of kingsotn pc2700. I can't get it to run stable at 166mhz. I can't get it to run stable above 145mhz. I just might not have been lucky and got the bad one of the bunch, but my next memory purchase is going to be 1gig dual channel pc-3200 geil or OCZ ram.
In my opinion, i think Mistubishi had the best memory, to bad they don't do comptuer anymore. I have a stick of pc100 sitting here that I got to do 140-150mhz without any problems.
