Well .. remember that the SE cards are crippled versions so ... in the gaming category you WILL suffer and to tell you the truth ....

NO you will not get faster gamplay with that card (not that I know of).

So ... please check this sticky:

Misc about the newegg apollo 9600se card

SE card generally follow an industry standard. But all it stands for is special edition.
The apollo 9600SE is not like the other industry 9600SE's. Apollo has put 128bit memory on the board instead of the normal 64 bit memory. This is essentially a regular 9600 card for a 9600se price.

Spec for spec these are the same cards, with the same memory, and the same graphics core, and the same bus

sapphire 9600 regular

apollow 9600se
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...pa=0&section=2

the only difference is one comes with a fan, which adds to the overall noise of a computer, and the 9600se does not and can handle the heat with a heatsink.

Here is the official apollo site
http://www.joytech.com/apollo9600%20SE.htm

It's a hard deal to beat for that price.

I'd like to see some benchmarks on that card. My interest is sparked.
