Express Cameras is not a legitimate vendor of cameras and equipment. They sell Nikon but are not according to Nikon, authorized to sell Nikon. They attempt to take original equipment prepackaged by the manufacturer apart and sell items separately. They lie about what they are selling you. They fraudulently make charges against your credit card sending along items that were not authorized, ordered or approved.
Express Cameras appears to make it a practice to appear to be selling one thing and delivering quite another. I recently purchased a Nikon Camera Body kit. I got a order confirmation from Exress Cameras. I printed it. There were charges on the confirmation not agreed to. Within moments of the confirmation I received an e-mail which required me to contact Express Cameras by phone. I did so. The sales representative, Greg Hayes ( it is not clear that is his real name - but does fit the salesman) described a number of packages Express Cameras sells. I declined them all. A few days later I discover that Express Cameras has charged by credit card more than $1700. I found in the shipping box multiple credit card slips that were not authorized. There was an invoice in the shipping container that listed the items sent but no prices for the items. Express Cameras has been notified on numerous occassions about the discrepancy.
Anyone who has been victimized by Express Cameras should immediately refute the credit card charges, write to the Attorney General Office, State of New Jersey and contact the manufacturers of the items ordered. Tell everyone your story. Keep going until you are satisfied with the results of your purchase and or refund. Do not agree to anything that Express Cameras tells you in writing or otherwise.
Never do business with Express Cameras again. "Sunshine is the best disinfectant."
