Logitech's Cordlesss Optical Trackman

I am considering the purchase of a the latest Logitech trackball as the Logitech I am using has been a good performer over the years. However I see lots of them on EBAY and other internet sitis as refurbished. Does this indicate that Logitech had/has problems with their latest optical, cordless model?

I am curently useing the cordless duo mouse and keyboard with no problems at all.
I have seen no ill effect not even when gaming.

I bought a cordless trackball for Internet poker, two games at once, because it had a lifetime warranty.

Probably got a half a million click on it, still going strong.

You either love that trackball or hate it. Probably why the returns, IMO.
