Is this worth the money?
Is this worth the money or is there a better deal around? Been out of the vid card market for a while and it's time to upgrade but below $100. Thanks

I think its a great price for that video card. At least considering the prices here in Sweden. Have to check more to compare with prices in the US. But I think its worth the money, that is a great video card.

I'm not sure if you guys can get it, but over here I can grab a Radeon 9600 for under £100, or a Nvidia Geforce 5600FX for under £100, which are both better than that card, obviously there are price differences, but everything is cheaper over the pond than it is here.

Yeah, but £1=10mk=$1,6, so, £100=$160
The fx5200 is pretty bad card, I wouldn't get it. Get the r9600np instead.

Oh, you might be able to get a 9600 SE, it is not as good as a 9600np, but it is cheaper.

So, does the Radeon 9600np have 128 or 256 RAM? Is the extra RAM worth the extra cost? And which is most important: the amount of RAM or the quality/speed of the RAM?
For the money, I can't find any Radeon-based cards in that $77-100 range. There are several at NewEgg for $95-107 but I don't think those are the good ones.

Come on, I know the FX series isnt the best, but that is a nice card anyways. And the pricetag is nice too, at least for me. But of course I would get a Radeon 9600 anyday over that one. But the 5200 isnt a bad card, at least IMO.
