Systems CDRDVDRMedia.com worries

I purchased a 10-pk of DVD-RWs 9 days ago. My credit card was charged immediately. I never received a confirmation e-mail, nor have they responded to subsequent e-mail. I have tried calling the number but they have an answering machine with a non-descript computer voice saying no one is available.

They are part of Yahoo shopping and my credit card company also protects the purchase so I'm not too worried.

Any thoughts?

Some suspicious reviews from the start

I wouldn't order from them myself, but I did pay for some headphone from www.aaxes.net even though not many people reviewd them, and the package is coming tommorow, so.......I'd start worrying now.

how much money could you have saved for 10 dvds??? in hindsight, was it worth the hassle (now you'll have to your CC company and explain it to them) and all the mental worry over whether you got ripped off or not?! and that's not even taking into consideration whether your CC info might now be, in the hands of a potentially not-so-honest party.

take some good advice...find 2-3 online vendors who you trust and stick with them, even if they may not always have the cheapest prices. for one, you'll be supporting a business that's earned your trust and you'll get the stuff you ordered, on time and w/o the hassles.

Ok, all is forgiven. My stuff arrived this afternoon. But honestly, why can't this stupid company just follow through with their promises? There's just too much competition out there for them to have such poor customer support.

Good point, PresterJohn, I usually do that and don't jump around too much. For example, Newegg doesn't always have the best price, and I have to pay sales tax, but I know they'll come through.
