Kids Outlook as a stand alone program?

I have recently gotten an iPAQ PDA.
As far as I know I need "Outlook"
in order to sync it with my laptop which has Outlook Express on it.

I have not been able to find the
MS Outlook program by itself.
It's usually bundled with MS Word,
Excell, etc. which I really don't need.
Do you know of a place where I could buy just "Outlook"?

dosent the ppc come with outlook??????? it was on my cd with active sync...unless you got a used one that didnt come with it i guess

well if you are a student or the family member of a student why not get the whole office suite as it is only like 130 at most stores

The ppc is a used one (iPAQ 3600) that didn't have the cd with it.
I have downloaded the upgraded version
"MSASYNC.exe"
Have checked the website for Outlook but $145.- was a little steep for me.

The whole office suite would be a better choice considering the price.
If I could find an older vers.of Outlook it would be cheaper and probably do what I need it to do.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Outlook as a Stand Alone Program?

Why don't you contact the manufacturer to see if you can buy an upgrade to the newer Pocket PC 2003 software (presuming you having Pocket PC 2002 on your device. You can't buy directly from Microsoft, but can from the OEM. This is improved software, including Outlook - I know Dell sells the upgrade to AXim X5 owners for about $29.

Hey thanks!
This is the best idea yet.
