I'm not a fan of DLP, though I have seen a select few models on display that truly impressed me. With a 10,000:1 contrast ratio this one would have turned my head. If I were in the market for a big TV (well, I am...just not willing to spend the dough), I'd have to bite on this ungodly badboy.

Yes, those Samsung DLPs are really nice.

We've got a 50" like that upstairs. Plenty of inputs, nice menus, and a very nice picture.

If I'd be buying a large TV I'd definitely look at one of those (probably not a 72" though).

Samsung LED DLP tvs are the best I have seen. I've been to Best Buy's Magnolia Home Theature rooms before and have seen a few DLPs side by side, the Samsung always had the best blacks and the least screen galre which is the most important thing for me on a TV. Also, Samsung has a "Game mode" on there DLPs which increases the responce time and makes the colors more "richer" as they call it. I don't think the colors look any better, but when I hook up my computer to my Aunt's 62" Samsung LED DLP I do notice less motion blurr while in the Sports Game mode playing WoW and while playing Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3.

If I had room in my bedroom, I would get a Samsung led dlp, but since I don't, I am going for a smaller LCD that I can wall mount.
