[ECC2]Close to a solution?

Hey all,

just wondering if anybody has any idea how close we are at getting the solution... Just checked on the official ecc2 page & jay berg said they esitimated @ 20,500,000 DP's there would be a 50/50 chance of having the solution. We are currently at 24,663,223 DP's submitted... How much longer do ya's think ecc2 will last?

The solution (well 2 solutions..) might already be found. This was the case with ECCp when the solution was found 2 months prior to the ending of the project. I don't know if they have a better/faster way to find a matching point this time.
But the solution was found I believe around 70% chance

Was it 2 months? kewl, i only thought it was a few weeks...

Pretty cool how quickly we are progressing with ECC2 tho, considering its a harder/longer encription to crack, we are going wayyy quicker than with ecc1...
