Looks like it is still going strong...

That 100% is based on us reaching 20.5 Million DP's. That's how many points they estimated that it would take to find the 2 matching DP's.

But like the ECCp-109 (the one before this) it took... I forget something like 30 or 35 million. They estimated 20.5 as well.

Eccp-109 the previous project had an a priori 50% of completing withing 58Million dp (about the equivalent to 29 Million ecc2 dp) it ended at a little over 68million IIRC. Another ecc project ended at the 28% point so YMMV.
This time the estimate was 50% of inishing by 20.5 million (or 19.86 depending on how you rounded the approximation) You might say we're in overtime
It's VERY likely we'll find a solution in the next couple of months.
