[ECC2]DP's Not submitting??

Hey all, i just installed ECC2 as a service on my girlfriends PC, its got 4 DP's so far, but it seems it is not uploading the points..... I have tried changing the port it sends on from 80 to 23 and still not sending.....

Is this an issue with running it as a service? Like do i have to use a GUI to send the DP's, i would have thought they should send automatically anyways.....

Hmm i just tried to checkup on the homepage, and it seems www.ecompute.org/ecc2 is down at the moment.... Perhaps this is why its not sending????

Hopefully the site being down was the issue, as my points went in OK at 7:00AM EST.
I do have an issue connecting with the server from behind my router w/DSL. I need to connect my Win 98SE boxes directly to the modem to send DP's. Win XP will connect OK though.

weird all of my machines connect just fine even though they are behind a NAT router and a firewall. try installing the latest version of the client. o ya, the sites back up

No worries, seems the points are now senfing in fine from her PC... Altho i don't know how much work it'll do considering he sister has moved out (she used to have the PC on alot, which would have been good for the crunching.... but anyways)...

Oh maxval, from behind your router you might wanna try changing the port from 80 to 23.... I had to do that to get it to send from behind my router..... My router was blocking the sending from port 80 since the traffic didn't confirm to HTTP standards....
