Systems ECC2 - Cows won't Upload!!

I just started crunching for Techimo last week.
I've got a couple of cows that don't seem to be communicating with the server, and hence have not sent their DP’s.
They are on a LAN connected by a router via DSL.
One machine (XP) dumps points quickly, the other two (98SE) are constipated!
Any suggestions?
Max

I just know I'm asking for it....

Client is CF/WD

Glad to see you on the team MaxVal!

From the 98 boxes, see if you can 'PING' the "ecc2.ecompute.org" site. If you can't, therein lies your problem. If you can, then maybe you just don't have the .cfg file setup correctly.

Make sure you don't have your e-mail address commented "//" out. Make sure you also have "ecc2.ecompute.org" set as the server address.

Thanks Rick!
I found that if I bypass the router and connect the 98 boxes directly to the DSL modem, all is well.
Seems as if the 98 boxes can't see the server through the router.
A problem for another day...

If the 98 boxes are using DHCP, still manually set the DNS server entries.
