Woulda, wooda, shoulda?
I have always loved everything about the natural look and feel of wood, and those look like some fantastic craftsmanship,- it even looks like they selected some nice woodgrain for them.
I've built some custom oak cabinets with protected power rails, fan cooling system and vent ports, hardware secure mounting my entertainment/gaming/home theater system (aluminum mounting rails with special security hardware and locking doors for my movie/game cabinets (to keep da kiddos from messing with my stuff); I've measured surrounding temps of components with a high-end digital thermalcouple and everything stays as cool as it looks,- but I cant imagine building a PC case that would have sufficient cooling properties.
I've seen acrylic or plexiglass PC case reviews, which were terrible, and I have to believe that wood would be worse,- no matter how many fans were used. [Cool stuff thread, or tech thread talk?]
