Tech Athenatech A106SL.200 Compact/HTPC microATX case All you pay is the shipping AR!

Looks like they are gone with the deal...

Linkage

Athenatech A106SL.200 silver with blue trim and 200W PSU. PSU is puny, but at this price you can decide which was free, the case or the 300W fortron/sparkle PSU or you could say both were half-price! Case is Free After Rebate - all you pay is the shipping unless you're one of the unfortunates who has to pay sales tax as well...

A big CAVEAT EMPTOR! I was informed that Athenatech may not be particularly reliable in paying rebates and when looking at the rebate form, I saw that they are somehow in business with Powmax.. So be prepared to take advantage of the relevant consumer protection agencies if they drag their feet.

Nice find... too bad I don't need one. LOL

FYI, it's getting some compliants for being TOO small and cramped, especially for the DVD drive. You may need to buy a smaller DVD drive if your current one doesn't fit. The Lite-On DVD drive is exceptionally short, and would be your best bet here.

Actually the new Samsung 18X drives are plenty short too and amazingly cheap.
It's the cases similar to the Aspire X-QPack that has more of a problem with the drive. For sure you can't have both a large HSF and a full size optical drive in there.
