1&1 Hosting Sale, 25% off hosting packages

1&1 is having a 25% off sale on hosting right now.
http://www.1and1.com/

Plus the 1&1 business includes
Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 4.0,
Adobe® GoLive® CS2
and more(though the others are not that good)...
http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Fea...remiumSoftware

But you need to sign up for 12 months to get the premium package(though there is a 90 day money back guarentee, you might be able to pull out and keep elements and golive).

geez that's almsot worth it just for photoshop elements. That's $70 alone with education pricing. let alone hosting and domain name stuff as well.... Almost makes me wish I wasn't happy with my current hosting.

I use 1&1 myself, and have been for the last month and a half, so far I love it(though I don't get much traffic there yet, so I don't know how it will hold up).

On one of my other sites we used(just switching over today) godaddy, and it was absolutely horrible. 90% of the time the page loads were so slow it was unbarable(on 20KB pages with a 5MB connection).

Three years ago, 1And1.com offered free hosting accounts to all who would apply. The hosting features, software, hard drive space, and bandwidth was very good even there was a fee. The term of the free hosting accounts was three years, which run out next month. I got two of them.

The 25% price reduction is being offered to the folks who got the free accounts. The monthly price runs from $0 for basic web page and email per domain name up to $14.99 for a web site developer account, which appears to be pretty good. In between are plans that vary, including business and eStore features.

As was mentioned, 1And1.com includes licenses to some essential software and other applications. Almost all include NetObjects Fusion HTML editor.

I think the free accounts from 1And1.com were some of the greatest deals of all time.
