Im on FIRE!
man, all kinds of recruits today!
my numbers are already flying, might have something to do with the 1eup jobs coming out, but regardless, i have brought 2 new team members to the table.
one is Eric_T
the other one wont get recruited till sunday, but his will be showing up shortly.
Eric T is a friend of mine who is devoting his 2100+ just because he hates cancer and wants to do all that he can.
yay for the team!

Thanks for adding fuel to our team's fire, DPA. I tried recruiting my older brother's comp for the team, but he doesn't seem to like the idea, even for a good cause. I'll work on him some more, but I don't know how receptive he will be. Other than that, I'm still waiting on 600 MHz from my old comp (going to give that comp to my younger brothers, but they need to fork over some dough for a few things it needs), and I desparately need to build another system (it's been about 5 months, I'm jonesin'), but if you guys keep adding systems and recruiting members, we'll be flying in no time!

Great job, DPA!!
We all need to be spreading the word, and getting this project out in the open more.
Lots of people would like to do this just for the anti-cancer aspect of it. Especially if they have a computer that's fast...
Keep up the recruiting, DPA, and may we all be able to tell others about this fantastic project!
David

I am going to school, and I spend a lot of time in the science lab. On of the tutors has just downloaded FaD on the computer in the lab, but it only runs when she is logged on. Any way we can get it to run when the computer is on?

There are two ways to do it:
1.) Use something like Firedaemon to run the client as a service
2.) If it's a NT/2K/XP system, try what I did in this how-to post |
