Problem importing jobs to another computer...

Hello!

I have a remote without internet connection and am trying to export the jobs to a computer with an internet connection.

Problem is that when I got to import the .qgo file, that it says:
Code:
(37) Job not found in queue
j19-1n6b-q1.log
So, what am I doing wrong?

The file is only 5.44 KB. The way I tried to export the jobs by Ctrl-Clicking all the jobs that had completed, and then File > Export, I then typed in the name I wanted to call it, and clicked "Save"...

Any help is appreciated!

David

Did the job originate on the PC that you're trying to import it to? I had one of my cows hooked to the I-net and D/L'd a bunch of jobs, I then removed the modem and later on I tried to export the jobs to my main PC. I got a similar message. That job (#19 in your case) has to be in the queue on the PC that you're trying to import it to. I ended up having to hook the modem back up and upload the jobs directly from that PC. After all those jobs were done, I started importing them from my main PC, instead of D/L'ing them directly.

If that job number is already used in the queue, it won't allow you to import. For example, your main machine is churning away at job #85. You will not be allowwed to import job #5 from another machine.

However, if your main machine is on job #5, you can import job #85 (as #85) from your remote. The queue then would look like this:

1
2
3
4
5
85
6
7
etc.

So, I would need to import that job to another computer that has done fewer jobs than the first one? OK

Well, I'll just try to get this one hooked up and uploading then, my machine has done 700 or so jobs, and the one I was wanting to import from has only done about 35(new install).

Thanks for answering my question!!
