New members are great, but....

Where in the world are all the others?
I counted 57 people who haven't dumped in more than 14 days!!!
14 days?!?!?! I've got a 466 celery here that dumps wayyyyy more often than that. That's over half of our team, not dumping...or crunching. Sad

What's it take to get those on the team to get crunchin again?
If anyone has any ideas, post 'em, we need to do something.

But I'm finding it hard to believe that 57 people, or 7 for that matter are working on 46 day long jobs.

Yeah, it was like 46 days, 11 hours. It was a 821P job on a dedicated Pentium 100. The next job it did was another 821P and took 40 days.

Now back on topic, I do know that some of our members do save up before dumping. Some of these recent jobs are also slow which is why we haven't seen anything from them yet I believe.

Just to clarify my position in this, I only dump when the jobs are all completed. My comp has no modem, so I have to put in one from the other comp when I wanna dump. That brings up another question. One time all my jobs were competed and Im getting ready to setup for a dump. But it pops up another job and crunches on. Thing was, there werent any more in the queue. It did this 11 times, then I finally dumped. Can FaD create jobs or was this just an anomaly???

FAD caches completed molecule files and uses them on another query if the queue is ever empty and cant download new jobs. When this happens server.log shows job added rather than job downloaded.
