Thanks BitSpit, how do I make sure that the FAD box automatically upload and download the wu's? Last night only one was uploaded and this morning 5 were completed waiting to be uploaded.


soulja, yes I have been here for a long time but on other DC projects. Just lending a hand to a distress teammates.

Do not forget, me and Gmoney (GilaManster) we have our favorite DC projects. We like to DC and support other DC teams.

Now can anybody show this noobie FAd'er the pointers and make this a click and forget.

Welcome aboard everyone! It's good to see our team growing so fast. Maybe all the bantering over the past few days has done some good, afterall. I just sent out the newsletter to everyone in my address book last night, hopefully we can recruit some more members. Of course, I sent out the last couple newsletters, and that didn't do any good. But I'm not going to give up!

right click your fad-tray icon--> select setup --> general tab --> planned connections

also make sure your firewall isn't blocking the connection.

Thanx BitSpit I was not sure that I had gotten on the team but it looks like I did. I think the whole idea of using unused CPU power is kewl and a great idea.

About the automatic uploads, I think FaD automatically uploads when it finishes all of the working units in the queue. Also , there's a planned connections options in the FaD setup.!
Just right click on the tray icon, select setup and look for planned connections somewhere in a Tab there.
All I do is download a bunch of wus and upload them manually when I have the time. But since I know that you probably have broadband and a few computers ....

nah first time doing FAD

i did ECCP for a while, then it was completed. To lazy to start another project until now

i have 5 machines constantly running FAD

Thanks eagle1, I think I will load up another box with FAD just for giggles. I see you have been a busy this summer. Time to settle down for the winter on that cold place u call PR?
