[FaD] Welcome DanGrease!
Hello Guys!
First I have to say that I was stupid since I didnt know what FaD was, I thought it was something else. After looking and reading a bunch of threads regarding FaD I dicovered that it was something nice to do for this world. After downloading the client (I did download it before I knew something....lol) I was like "What is this!?" but then everything went great, and I joined the TechIMO team of course! I think its a great idea to use our computers to find a cure for all these diseases. Lets Welcome Dan Da' Man to the Team!

P.S. Phew! It was a lot of reading until my brain finally got it! |

LOL. Well, whatever the reason for joining, we're glad to have you. Always nice to see some more people crunching. So what did you think FaD was, anyway?

My reason for joining is to help finding cure for diseases of course! And for having TechIMO on top I though FaD was like a short word for a sentence like Laughing out Loud is LoL and etc... I know it sound stupid but my brain was not getting it! *Psst, is this FaD thing trying to find a cure for people that have brain disorders like me?* Lmao! One thing though that is worrying me, why am I not in the list of members @the site of FaD? I search for DanGrease and it sais no members found...Is it because im new and I still dont have hits? Or is it something I did wrong? I put the Team Number as 2037 which is TechIMO so I have no clue why I dont show up. Well, Im glad I am in at least

So a job is completed @100% right? How do I upload after that I have a complete job? Sorry for asking silly questions but I am really a newbie at FaD but I really want to learn and help as much as I can. I am currently at 3% though Still a lot left, by the way, how much time does it take to complete a job? And my last question is how does this FaD project actually help? And is it helping? Thanks for listening

Left click on the "Think" icon in your system tray, choose Queue.
Under File, you'll find "Send"
Just click that and sit back.

It depends on the molecule or as we call it a WU (working unit). Some wu's take longer (hours - depending on the power of your PC) and some of them finish quicker.!
sharder told you how to upload once your wu reaches 100%.

Thanks all!
One thing though. After telling my mom about this she asked me a good question: "How do you know this project is really helping and that this is actually working? How can you know FaD isnt using your computer for other stuff?" And I started to think about it. I really dont know, I just believe in it, since many people that I trust here at TechIMO uses it. But my question is can I really trust this?
