[FaD] I'm Staying. What about you? (poll)
I honestly can't just leave this place. An effort is been made by Scott and the mods to address our concerns and I have to respect that. We're still pretty much at the negotiating table right now and I think it's premature to just go somewhere else. Therefore, I'm currently sticking with a TIMO team until I'm given a reason to do otherwise.

I'm staying too. TIMO has become my home over the last 6 months, it's soooo much better having FAD here since I come here anyway.
Anyone else?

Here's what I posted at Xtreme PC;
Here's my 2 cents. I think it is a bad thing that all of this discussion is even taking place. Maybe I didn't keep up with the [FAD] conversations after I quit running [FAD] and [UD] at the same time for TechIMO. I only run [UD] now.
My outside POV is it takes two to argue and [FAD] runs silently in the background. I myself just let my DC projects run without messing with anything.
What a shame about breaking up over differences of opinions when it will run all by itself.
It sounds petty to me. I guess petty means something different to all of us.
It sounds like a type of Sysopt rebellion on a different scale. |

I have nothing against TechIMO (read my other posts). For now, I'm sticking with the rest of the team (I'm not changing the team number in my setup) So, I guess for now, that means that I've already switched to XPC. I've been surfing around XPC this morning, trying to get a feel for it. It seems like an ok site, but I'm afraid we won't get the same exposure that we do here. I'm just going to have to see what happens, and see if I like XPC. The team is important to me, but the research is more important. If it looks like TechIMO is going to give FaD better exposure then XPC, then I'll have to come back to TechIMO. I hope one of you is going to create a new team here with a new number and a new Captain (I nominate Bitspit) because I may need that new number to change my team number shortly, if things don't work out over at XPC.

I myself haven't decided yet which way I'm going to go...but I read the posts the Scott made earlier and to me it seems he's really bending over backwards to make us happy and keep us here. It also sounds like a lot of this hassle could have been avoided if we would have emailed him directly with our concerns. But then again...I always thought that's what the mods were for. <shrug>
I guess the more I think about it...the more I'm inclined to stay as well. Scott is making a genuine effort to accomdate us and to leave anyways seems like a slap in the face. IHMO.
BitSpit, I'm officially nominating you as the new captain of TechIMO's FaD team.
We can still take #1...it's just gonna take a little (ok a LOT) longer then before. lol. |

IMO, everyone should stay here. We "won" the debate, we've got our daily stats, but some members still want to waltz off. Not a good idea! We've been through so much togather, and now some just want to give up....Dont give up! Dont give in! Stay at TechIMO!!!

I do commend Scott and Rob for their interest in this spat. It seems to me that they really didn't know this undercurrent existed, just some of the mods. It does seem like they care and would try to form a solution for all of this mess.
The whole problems exist from members. The [FAD] stats never bothered me at all whether I was running [FAD] or not. |

Let me put this simply . . . . I'm done!
The bickering and the sarcasim, was getting worse and worse. The fun was gone, and there was no end in sight. I did correspond with several members of the team (besides WoO and Mick), and the overall opinion was, it was best to keep the team together and if it meant move . . . so be it.
WoO has been pretty clear about why, I've been pretty clear about why.
There were PM's between Scott, Rob, and me, and I stated my case to them about why. Yes, I believe Scott and Rob care! But, it came too little, too late for me. It was a hard decision for me to make, because I count TechIMO, Scott, and Rob among my friends. I hope that a new team does start here, once there are rules in place to keep the fun and friendliness. But we, asked for these before and we were told no. It took a drastic move in order for Rob and Scott to be brought in to try to straighten things out. Both have better things to do with their time, as do the mods, then to try to settle the squabling.
As I stated before, TechIMO stays my second home, just not for DC projects.

Harder | I hope you didn't consider my post as bickering because it was not intended that way at all. I feel I'm on the losing/late end of solution. |

Well I guess I should weight in on this subject since my site is involved. I was approached to see if XPC would be interested in hosting AND supporting another DC Team as several other sites were being looked at as well. Since I am active in DC I said sure. I am personally leaving the naming and team # up to those that created and managed the FAD team.
I still to this day consider TechIMO my second home. (XPC of course being my main home ) I came over from SysOpt to help Scott start Timo and that was even after being offered a PAYING job to stay at SysOpt. I have no motive in this other than to support a DC team and I'm not voting in what happens but I will say I support the FAD team active members in whatever choice they make.
