ArcticFox, maybe you should get a Kill-A-Watt instead. It's quite a bit cheaper and does about the same thing. I got one about a month ago. Unfortunately, I just plugged it in a few days ago. I'm a bit of a procrastinator sometimes. Sometimes? Ok, all the time. Heck, I've had a wine cooler here that I wanted to mod into a case... it's been sitting here for almost a year! One of these days! Anyway, I've got my 1800+ plugged into it right now, next I'll use it on my 2800+, then on my 2500+. I'll let you know what I come up with. Let me see if I can find some linkage... OK, here is a link to the Watt's Up (for comparison). And here is where I got my Kill-A-Watt from.

Ours is around that price, but we got a big house. The AC unit is horribly outdated, and there is no insulation in the roof(working on that today).

I think I'll definetly look into that Kill-A-Watt thing, sounds like it's just what I need. But it's a shame that you pay even that much for something that you will use, how often? I guess if your constantly rebuilding PC's and stuff it would help, or are obsessed about the techinical details in everything you use, it would help. I just wish someone had one of these that I knew so I could just borrow it, but I don't. Oh well, it still seems like a nice toy!
