[FaD] What do i do.

Ok im gettin mad here. This thing is on my pc and i dont know anything about it. It always says i have 0 jobs 0 molecules and 0 hits. How the heck do i get any. And in my queue i have like 12 jobs and none are doin anything. The first job has some date and the first 3 say COMPUTER under node for some reason. that too also says i have 0 of everything except i have 1 queue there. But when i open job info it says:

What in the heck do i do. If i dont figure this out. I quit cuz it hurts my brain. O and i am on team 2037. HELP plz.

Don't quit!!! We are all here to help. Open the queue window and highlight the running job. the info will show up at the bottom of the queue window.

Everything looks fine to me except your queue window hasnt updated .Open setup from the tray icon, on the options tab change the queue update frequency to 1 then press update. This may solve the problem if not try a reboot.

Or, you may want to right click on the Think icon in the system try and choose "Graphics". The graphics window should open and show it is running. If nothing happens, you may have to manually restart it or reboot in order to restart it.

To manually start it, go to the find-a-drug folder and double click on "Think.exe". That will manually start it. Only do this if the graphics aren't on, and only do it once or you could end up with 2 instances running.

In general you will find that the slower molecules are towards the end of a job (this is because they are more flexible). In addition, jobs which have more hits take longer. If the CPU seconds are still increasing then the software is running - although I prefer to watch the graphics!

1d8d-q3 and m4034 has been returned by another member (1540 points).

The server won't return any results unless you push the Send button or it needs to download more jobs. Given the size of your queue it won't do so possibly for a few days. If you want to update your stats in the meantime push Send.

I would say that THINK.exe is not running, but server.exe is running.

When you have finished the first job then hopefully things will become more clearer. KIt is crunching for cancer atm so stay with it.

Happy crunching you will get a welcoem thread when you finish your first job and it is then uploaded to the server.

i finished 7 jobs. How do i check my stats online.

Ok have they been uploaded do you know.

In the Think Queue (from control panel or the menu bar) does it say they have been uploaded.

The status should say uploaded.

Check to see in the Think control panel that the queue is running.

If the jobs are not uploaded then goto menu then send. You will appear on www.statsman.org and www.find-a-drug.com/mystats.html or waiting for BitSpit 'daily ' stats thread to appear.

If the jobs are finished and uploaded then maybe it has just done them wait a half a day to make sure they show up onthe stats.
