Well, that kinda depends.

Is it only on one cow? Or have ya got more?

On one cow, it'll run itself happliy. How do ya connect to the net? If it's always on, then no worries.

(I'm assuming windoze here, BTW).

You might wanna open the Control Panel (right click the tray icon, and select setup, then have a look at what options ya want to run.

Cheers
Mick

Ok, you got a choice. You can load each machine as a separate install of it's own (which will work fine, just means you need to make sure each machine stays working OK, and that username /email addy is the same, and that all have Team 2037 in the teams box in setup).

OR - you can be daring and run it as a networked install!! that means only one box actually runs the queue server, and only that one box connects to the net. The others just get work form that box and run it. It has slightly lower overheads than running a queue server on each box. But it's a bit fiddly, so not for the faint-of-heart!

Let me or Wizzard~0f~Ozz know if ya wanna run a networked setup, and we can run ya through it.

Whatever ya do, have fun!!

Cheers
Mick

Shouldn't need to stop it. It should jump happily outa the way (even for games), then jump back in when your PC is idle.

You can snooze it if ya want if ya think it affects game play, but I'd give it a try first.

Do yopu mean you set it for 16GHz?? that's a bit high for a single CPU machine. It'll never automatically connect and send results in that case. You'll have to send manually, by opening queue in the tray icon, and selecting file send. I'd suggest setting to 2GHz or so for a 1GHz machine.

Cheers

Um, I think you're spreading THINK a little thin, IMO. Just 2 THINK's running on one CPU is enough.

Otherwise they all share the CPU - so each one only gets 1/16th of 2GHz or so - that means you are running THINK on 16 125MHz CPU's!! A bit slow, IMO.

Anyone disagree with me out there?

Cheers

auto would run 1 version of think per CPU... which is fine!
