[FaD] High hit jobs...anyone?

Just curious if any of you guys are getting jobs that actually result in some hits...it's been so long here that I've almost forgotten what they were like. Doh.

OTOH...I checked one of my machines a few minutes ago and it's crunching a 11yv. It's at 68% and has 18 hits so far!!! Got so excited when I saw that...I almost did something that hasn't happened since I was quite little. *ahem*

I'll have to check my other machines...but I'm pretty sure this is the first job I've had in a LONG time that actually had more then 5 hits.

Has anyone else gotten any of the 11yv jobs yet? What kind of results have you gotten?

Yrah, lately I've been getting a lot of high hit jobs. Had 14 jobs finished yesterday which resulted in 1,071 hits, a 76.5 hit average.

Things take forever, but it is better than jobs that take forever and produce almorst nothing.

I run Cancer only, so I'm getting different WUs than you. They are mainly 1e7u-q1, with a sprinkling of 1c1y-qi.

True. I didn't even think about that...I'm running all the projects. lol. I'll have to look up what 11yv are associated with...

I was wondering the same thing, cuz I haven't had a job with over 10 hits since the 11th...........of the last 30 jobs, I have had a max of 7 hits in a single job and most of them have had no hits at all...........luckily, though the most recent ones have been flying by......I run all the projects too.

1lyv are Plague, (listed under Bioterrorism) they are slow running jobs with relatively low hits.

The highest hitting job I've had so far was just under 600 hits, (821p) of recent my celeron that's running in the mud (realllll slow) is at 171 hits, 99.1% 1.35Million seconds (15.5days)

That's the highest recently, it's an 1E7U.

My primary goal is Cancer, I have selected MS aswell.

current jobs that have been downloaded are 1E7U,1f45 and 1c1y, All take a while, the 1c1y's are hit and miss, some are fast, others are really slow.

So far for me they've had high hits...that is compared to the other jobs that I've been doing lately. The one I mentioned the other day finished with 21 hits and I got another one (on this machine) that is 48% done with 40 hits! Whoo-Hoo!!

I'm only doing Cancer. Lately all the jobs I download are 1E7U's. They do take longer, but I like the high hit counts. It's about time I started getting some hits.

Amen to that...I'm tempted to take a screen shot of some of my machines...it's hard telling how many jobs I've done in a row that have netted less then 5 hits. Bleh.

Here Are the jobs that I've done so far, (since the last install, and only on local machines)

Highest points for a job is just shy of 13,000 (as of recent not including an early glitch in the points system of 24,000ish)
