[FaD] Team None gone from Stats?

Noticed this last nite.
Was going to post it then too.
But in light of the Daily Stats discussion didn't.

Enuff of the preamble.

Check this out! FaD Stats.

Notice: Team None has gone.
Notice: Points have become the default stats metric.

Which puts Timo at position 2!

And drops me back to #15. Behind mick.

Tried to find some explanation at FaD.
Didn't last nite. Haven't tried yet today.

Looks like it is time to start the points rort.

So, whats the issue? We are second, and 2 targets to aim for... We have the highest output of points, so keep up the crunching... there are 2 stats lists to top now!

Yes, team none is gone, clicking on your name in the team's stats page will show jobs uploaded within the last 24 hours, Keith is changing the stats all around.

Team none was removed because it was a default team, there was great discussion regarding this in the Find-a-Drug forum, but I think you are looking at the points listing (we are in third by molecules, second by points)

Team none members are now just not uploaded to the stats page. I guess they figure if they're not on a team, what's the point of keeping track of points?

You can go to http://www.statsman.org/findadrugstats/html/2037.html to see our stats sorted by molecules. With graphs and lots of neat stuff.

Hopefully, everyone will stay calm and realise that they are still contributing in the same way to a great research project regardless of any changes in stats.

I'd hate to see this DC project falter because of a dispute about stats. While there will be strong opinions about the new points system, no doubt, it is only one way to measure your work.

Maybe you could all post opinions in this thread and we could reach a consensus on how this team would like to see stats presented, bearing in mind that that may look different to "official" stats on the FAD site if we decide to use molecules not points.

Anyhow, I hope members don't jump ship just because stats have changed. IMO, stats are fun, but it's not really about the stats. I crunch for cures.

If you click on the word molecules, or sort by moleculesyou can see the old stats, however "team" none (and I use that term lightly) was not a team,

team is an organized group of people, none was the default "group" the assumed leader (NonParallelity) is OK with the decision to remove none from the stats and has since moved to Team Topcats.

All is well, however I still think Molecules or more accurately Jobs and Hits are what's important here,

If you prefer to sort by jobs, just hit the highlighted "jobs" link in the stats.

Ticked off?, I am as mad as hell

I have dropped from no. 9 to no. 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person above me (I am not naming names) has less hits than me, has less wu's complete than me, has less mollicules completed than me, has spent less time crunching than me, but is 10,000 points above me.

Sorry, but this is complete BS.

I know the whole point of being here is to find cures etc, but a large percentage of this is fun and trying to compete with your team mates.

I have absolutely no intension of going backwards with os's to install Win98 on all my cows just so that I can get a higher score (yes, I do know how it's done ).

I have spent a large amount of time and money in components etc to stay in the top ten and this has just been thrown staight back in my face. With the money I have made on building 3 computers this last weekend, I was going to build another 2. something gig XP to add to the herd, I don't think I will bother now, what is the point just to add another half a dozen points to your total.

Well that is my $0.20 worth - I am now taking my soapbox to bed...

Actually if you use the link I posted, that will give you stats sorted by number of molecules (which is why I never noticed this change, that's my bookmark)
