[FAD] Help! stand alone pc

Hello everybody. <hello Dr. Nick> sorry, I watch too much of the Simpsons.

I am in the middle of building 3 pc's this weekend, and would like to run FAD on them for a couple of days (for testing purposes of course )

I have no network connection on them but I know I can import jobs for them to run via usb HDD.

The problem is, after installing FAD on them, it wants to connect to the net and cant as they dont have modems either.

I know this problem has probably been asked a thousand times, but I don't have time to search through past posts.

Is there anyway I can install FAD on these computers without the installation needing to connect to the net?

Any help would be great...

Cheers
Mark.

Yes

hehehe, Install FaD on a PC with a net connection,
load up the queue with however many jobs you want.
Copy the FaD folder to the removable HD.
move it to a standalone PC.
copy the folder to the computer and run Isetup, and exit (this will change the name for the server to run)
then double click think.lgo and choose to run it with loader.exe in the FaD directory.

Add a shortcut to think.lgo in the startup folder

it will crunch through the entire queue, once the computer is sold, copy the folder back to the PC with a net connection, run Isetup (to change name back) then run think.lgo in the same manner as before, it will load the queue and you can send the completed jobs that way (I have no first hand experience with import/export features, however I believe you can export all finished jobs from that PC, and import them to your main box and send from there also)
