[FaD] Stats for 4-17-2003

Since I have to work in 7 hours and still haven't gotten any sleep, I'll post this now.

Stats are somewhat of a mess. The static HTML pages aren't updating properly and the totals (which I use to check for misentered data and yes, I type in all those numbers except the new columns everyday) aren't listed on the team member listing which means the stats grab is downloading four different files to make sure I get everything. It's also a pain to read without commas in the numbers.

In other wierdness, it seems Win2K's wife lost but I'm sure she'll make up for it in other ways (no fun for you ).

Thanks for the update BitSpit, your continued work through all the problems with the stats pages is a credit to us all, especially keying in all those numbers


Yes, WifeOfWin2Kuser has indeed gone.

She offered me an ultimatum, either most of the computers go, or she go's.

Needless to say, I asked if she wanted a hand to pack


Seriously though, I can understand her point. I tend to work 12 hour shifts most days, and then spend a lot of time locked away in my office doing coursework. And of course even more time locked away playing with pc's and browsing this fine forum.

At the moment, I have between 7 and 10 pc's running 24/7. This will drop to 4 However, I am allowed to upgrade the slowest one (K6-2/500) so I will probably go for a 2.6 XP or the fastest I can afford.

So, in the long term, I should still be crunching with the same power, just not using as much elec power

heheheh, My wife doesn't complain anymore, she's beyond that she just rolls her eye's But I have a very good reason for spending so much time with this (I do NOT want anyone here to have the same reason)

I've been upgrading the PC's to eliminate some of the slower ones, I've replaced I've replaced 2 P225's with 1 XP2100@2700, I'll be replacing 2 K6-2 450's with an XP2100@???, so the number of PC's is dropping and power is going up so she doesn't complain.
