Also, got my boxes into my newly built 'server rack' today.
Looks very spiffy!

Got a comms cabinet from the dump last weekend.
Stripped it.
Chopped up the panel sides to make shelves.
Took some doing!

Put castor wheels under it.
Measured all the stuff I have.
While fitting the shelves.

Cleaned fans and cases before I put the boxes in.
Tied back the power cables as it went together.
4 power boards. Does one into 16 go?

Now have 3 boxes on the lower shelf.
Printer on the next.
3 big boxes on the next up.
Old 14 mon, hub, power boards, and stuff up top.
And junk on the roof.

I'm well pleased with the look!
It looks great. Sorry no pics, no cam.

Next is ADSL. Gonna be real soon!

I would love to see pics of that server rack! Every time I go through this catalog of mine, I see this awesome server rack and it's not that bad of a price. I just can't talk myself into getting it. The main reason I want it is that I will be starting a LAN party business soon, and will house the dedicated servers in it.

Ass soon as you get pics of it, LMK! (Just go grab your friend's camera for a few!)
