Thank you kind sirs.I have been there before but not for a very long time and I dont expect to be here for very long this time.A month at the most is my guess.I seem to be getting a lot of very fast low hit jobs just lately but thats bound to come to an end and to tell the truth I'd rather spend a week crunching one job with 500 hits than a day crunching ten jobs with no hits

Hopefully some more TechIMOians will be up in the top 50 as well before too long.

as an aside...

one of the frustrating things that i have w/fad is that i find no consistent correlation between the # of hits for a WU and the time it takes to complete the unit. i've had low hit mollies that took 3-4x longer than some units that had high hit counts but did not take that long to finish. very puzzling to say the least...and a little maddening at times.

PJ, yes, What I can figure is there are "close to a hit" molecules, it takes it's time verifying that it's definately a hit, or definately not a hit. But it is frustrating, Just askone who was lucky enough to chew on the 1BZH-Q4's (They took 3 days on an XP2000 and only had 5-6 hits)

I'm running into a bunch of either slow, low hits, or slow high hits jobs lately and it's frustrating!

Looks like I'll be dropping to 5th on the team soon (Thank you WoO! ) Looks like I'll be sticking around 78th over-all as well! (I'll just have to fight to stay there as there seems to be several fast movers on my tail! )

To repond to the aside, there is a new point scoring system in development. Exactly how it will be implemented, and when, hasn't been discussed yet, AFAIK. Watch the FAD forum for more...
