[FAD] Team TechIMO takes 7th place!
Planetspectre fell by the wayside tonight as Team TechIMO passed them!

That puts Team TechIMO in 7th place, (8th place if you count the people who have chosen not to be a member of a team)!

Keep up the GREAT job folks!

BTW, Team Rechenkraft.net is the next target for us to aim for!

What is this FAD I keep reading about?? Any links?? I could join too, have nice 3 puters, that should be able to assist nicely.

XP1700+ @ 1.83Ghz
Dual P3 1Ghz
Tbird 1.4Ghz

Which cpu's are best at FAD?? Again the XP's??

Does this project need constant net access??

It is a DC projet that crunches the same stuff as UD, and some more. It doesn't require constant net access. In fact it can do without it for weeks or months so long as you download enough work for it. Any CPU can run it. Not sure which is best. But P4s and XPs seem to do pretty well.

I installed FAD on my main rig now, will install on server soon.

Can I bench how fast the cpu crunches??

Ohh and btw, I can prolly install them on my testrigs at work too, my boss did allow me to run rc5 and eccp on it, so....I'll ask him.

If I get that, that will add the following:

XP2400
XP2000 2x
P4 2.26
P4 1.7
P4 2.53
Athlon 850

But that I have to ask, let's hope he goes for it.
