Bit close between us aint it... I told you I wasn't going out without a fight - just dumped 6 wu's as well

Would have been more, but get this...

1 of my IBM 40Gb hdds crashed on my main cruncher (2.6XP), well, when I say crashed, the computer locked, when I rebooted, my win2k partition was completely blank, not even formatted, and there was no mbr. I did a virus check, but nothing.

turned out to be the jumper settings on the drive - factory set to master device 0 32gig clip (whatever that is), I had just over 30gig on the drive, but it must have hit 32gig and bang! - wierd

I had 7 wu's ready to dump on it as well grrr.

Guess what i've been doing for the last 2 days... Back up now though hence the 6 wu's

I love a good battle though - keep it up

Actually 2 of my main machines here at home have been choking on a couple of big jobs (well I say big when they take over 48 hours on a 1Ghz Machine and 36 on a 1.53Ghz) you have taken the lead again, but it's just a matter of time

And hopefully a little luck not getting long jobs.

(and a matter of time before I ad at least 1 more to the herd.)

But yeah, been close for a couple of dayz now.
