As far as PeterM's comments go, THINK uses CPU more than RAM, but does use Level2 cache more than other RAM. So if the CPU's were close in megahertz, then the AMD's, with more L2, would be better. But with 200MHz diff, you'd see more crunching from the Celery despite the crippled L2.
