Free Licensed Software from Giveawayoftheday.com

Everyday http://www.giveawayoftheday.com gives away licensed software that you otherwise would have to pay for. They offer each piece of software for only 24 hours. After this time period , you cannot activate the software anymore. Its a different piece each day. They also give away games on http://game.giveawayoftheday.com as well

Fully Legal, and not pirated versions of software you would find on other sites.

Got a few of them, decent to have something like this with Windows, but as I use Linux most, I'm all set.
These freebies were, for example, firewalls that only open 4 ports, disk recovery utilities that only recover image files but not audio files, word processors despite OpenOffice being free, weak spyware utilities that install spyware themselves, that kind of thing. The programs were what I'd call 80% solutions - they offer 80% of what I needed to deal with but the missing 20% was heartbreaking in some cases.

And most of the software was related to issues that I do not have to fix in Linux.

Hi! I've been thinking to try Linnux software but I don't know much about it, I heard it is much more secure and that it is real friendly user.
How is it when it comes to word program recieving word files, pictures and games.

How is it.

Can we get it for free or how much? Is there many version?

Thanks for your time.

Robert
