Hey guys,

I have a quick question. The other night I assisted an associate of mine in cleaning up a mess that another guy left at a small Tax Office.

Besides this guy not knowing what he was doing he decided to install XP Pro on all the systems.
The problem here is that these systems must be, with no exceptions, 100% legal. The guy said that all he does is call up M$ pay them $10 and he gets a new product key. How true is this, and should I be telling those people that they need to purchase new licenses for the systems.

It strikes me as kind of odd considering I was getting a quote from CDW for $165 per license for XP Upgrade and $10 for the media.

Any help would be gladdly appreciated.
