This one that Socalgal mentiond in the post above mine is a lurker. There are no registrations for these usernames at the HardOcp forums.

If someone is not a member of the forum and contacts you outside of the forum, there's probably a reason for it. There's a good chance that they're up to no good.

Either deal with people that you know, or ones that you can check references through people you know.
