Believe it or not I found a way to fix this problem without using the recovery console!!

I used windows ERD commander 2003 and booted to the ERC program on CD, I then did a system restore back to the beginning of December, booted up normally to windows and it worked.

I then booted to the ERD commander again and attempted to "undo" the system restore I just did, it worked fine.

I then just rebooted into windows again and it seems to work fine no problems!!

OF course you have to have access to the ERD Commander program to do this, but it worked!!!

Hope this helps somebody else out!!!!
