Normally when a BIOS flash does not complete, the BIOS ROM chip is empty, and the computer cannot start. It would be great if the motherboard and ROM-BIOS chip manufacturers could come up with a way to reflash a chip after a bad flash.. I have not seen that data from ASUS yet.

In the meantime, dlaruwe... look at your motherboard and find the BIOS chip..may have a sticker on top that says Award or Phoenix or AMI. See if that chip is in a socket or is soldered to the mainboard.
