Ordinarily I would have said that your motherboard bios ROM was toast, but after a little bit of research, I discovered that might not be the case.

Asus has a utility/feature called Crash Free Bios2 which is apparently a Bios Auto Recovery Procedure. You can read about it here:

According to their web site, your motherboard supports, or will work with, this feature.

Base that on what I read here:
