I think you should stop looking and put it out of your mind.

That is when the nice girls find you. In other words if you are "looking" you are likely to read things into people that really aren't there. It probably inhibits your ability to make friends first which is probably the best way to make relationships.

I suggest you join some on campus clubs and organizations. Anything you can do to take your mind off your problems, and when you aren't looking your dream girl will find you!
