I guess I really over did it then on mine then because I built sets of frames out of 2x4 that are 24"x8' for each shelf. Made each shelf unit with 5 shelfs. It took 3 sets of shelfs to fit perfect along the wall that is 24' I used 2x4 as the corner post also bolted to the rafters and screwed to the concrete floor and screwed the to the wall studs. I can put an engine block on them as I have a chevy 350 block sitting on one now. BTW I used 5/8 plywood for shelfing. I'd take a pic but my camera is out getting repaired as they don't work well after falling off of my truck
