Do you mean that check box?
My friend can't connect when his client is in passive mode, he gets 'Connection Timeout'. When he changes to Active mode it works fine. What is the norm, i.e. which mode should an FTP server be in?
Also can I use my DynDNS name instead of the IP when I check this box?
