I second that..that is killer I have used it on all my machines. Bviper knows his stuff pretty well.

I do caution about the xp home mods. I downloaded the pdf a while back so maybe it has been updated. But there is one service that he suggests cutting off and if you do cut it off your firewall will no longer work....I just dont remember what service it is.

What you need to do is look at the dependencies for the firewall and see which services it depends on and dont turn those services off if you want to use the firewall.

But yeah, turn off those unneeded services and you free up some resources and also you will be a little safer from certain exploits.
